- NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Office of Mine Safety and Health Researh (OMSHR), hereby announces its intent to issue a purchase order to IMC Data Works, LLC to procure a Portable Data Acquisition Unit, model CL-4124. Requirement: Portable Acquisition Unit must be lightweight, protable unit with the ability to collect 24 analog inputs + CAN bus signals and record to removable media with real-time data analysis. Detailed Specs: Measurement channels* •8 (CS) or respectively 24 (CL) isolated, analog inputs for a choice of configuration for: voltage, current, thermocouples, RTD (Pt100) and current-fed sensors •4 counter inputs for capturing RPMs, displacements, etc. •8 digital inputs •8 digital outputs (Open Drain) •4 analog outputs (DAC outputs 10 V) •CAN-Bus Interface for export and transfer of measurement and status channels from the CAN-Bus 2 CAN nodes •Synchronized, time-correct recording of all analog and digital channel signals •Up to 512 channels can be administered simultaneously Data storage •Choice of removable data storage (optional) and/or on PC •Arbitrary memory depths limited only by hard drive; with pre- and post-trigger •Circular buffer memory •Synchronized, multiple-triggered recording with different sampling rates for each channel •Optional PCMCIA Flash removable drive •Optional IDE hard drive Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written item description/item characteristics and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. Please forward the item description and pricing information to Margaret L. Mooney, CDC NIOSH, 626 Cochrans Mill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236, Reference 2011-Q-13720. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a federal contract. The website is: www.ccr.gov. The Government will review any/all item descriptions and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), negotiations will be conducted with IMC Data Works, LLC, 931 East Main Street; Suite 7, Madison, WI 53703 as the only source and a purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
