Description
DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK FOR COMMENT READING FOR ETHIOPIA’S ACHIEVEMENT DEVELOPED (READ) TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT USAID/Ethiopia announces its intention to invite comments and suggestions on a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the implementation of USAID/ETHIOPIA'S Education Program that focuses on three separate projects: Technical Assistance, Institutional Improvement and Community Outreach programs. This technical assistance develops reading and writing curriculum and training materials that focuses on eight main local languages (Affan Oromo, Aff Somali, Amharic, Tigrinya, Sidama, and three additional languages) and English. Reading for Ethiopia's Achievement Developed (READ) Technical Assistance project increases achievements in education excellence, and improve access to quality education for all. Please note that this is not a request for proposals (RFP) but a pre-solicitation synopsis and notice being used by the Government to develop interested sources. This draft statement of work is provided by USAID/Ethiopia to generate comments on their understandability and comprehensiveness. Interested parties should address their written comments to caddis@usaid.gov and Mr. Abdissa Woldeyohannes at awoldeyohannes@usaid.gov COB Monday August 1, 2011. USAID will not entertain oral or in-person comments on the statement of work or evaluation criteria.
