Description
This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Synopsis issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a request for quotations. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal in response to this synopsis. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334515 and the size standard is 500 EMPLOYEES. The purpose of this notice is to identify companies capable and qualified to repair the E4448A 50 GHz Spectrum Analyzer. Description Shaw AFB requires repair to the E4448A/SG46180384 PSA Spectrum Analyzer 3 Hz - 50 GHz. The Spectrum Analyzer is failing to calibrate. The analyzer is failing to meet manufacturer's standards with the frequency response at 0dBm from 300 KHz to 50 MHz. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce a course to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. If your firm is capable and qualified to provide repair of the Spectrum Analyzer, please respond via email no later than 1400 EST, 27 July 2011.
