Description
This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Innovative Product Achievements (IPA). The requirement is for Linen Management Software and maintenance of four IPA LV Receivers, four IPA LV Dispensers and 2 IPA MV Dispensers/Receivers. These ScrubEx machines are already located at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Maintenance includes all parts, software, on site service, unlimited telephone support, one scheduled Preventive Maintenance visit per year and training of hospital engineering and/or biomedical technicians to handle minor first response issues. Preventive Maintenance shall include a scheduled visist to WAMC to clean, inspect, adjust and repair potential problems. Software and Hardware upgrades required to insure the proper operation of equipment are included at no charge. The period of performance for this requirement is August 1, 2011 through September 30, 2014. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received by July 22, 2011, 4 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Responses may be faxed to 910-907-9307 or emailed to Lonnie.robinson2@us.army.mil.
