Description
The Mission Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to negotiate a sole-source FFP contract with ViaSat Corporation for the following items: 1.Domestic On-Site Operator Training and Installation Support 2.IW Channel Control Capability Upgrade 3.DOCCT/S VME Module Set with OEB 4.Cable, Hardware, and Installation Labor The NAICS code is 334220 Upgrades and Training are required for instruction of Integrated Waveform UHF satellite communication to the 25C and 25U courses. Contractor's personnel are to conduct inspections of equipment on hand and bring up to code. This includes but not limited to the following: removal of all equipment from the travel cases, remove all modules from the chassis and perform all applicable Engineering change Orders, perform complete Quality Inspection on all upgraded modules and subassemblies, install 1 Monitor/Keyboard and CPU with ruggedized hard drive with dual core processor that has the power to run upgrades software, load and test upgrade software, add an adapter and associated cabling to integrate the new computer Ethernet connection, install additional module set with OEB, install all sub assemblies and modules and perform full Acceptance Test Procedures and correct all related failures, perform final, quality inspection, ship system and warranty for 90 days. The authority for this non-competitive award is FAR Part 6.302-1. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required equipment. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals/quotes. No solicitation is available; therefore, request for such document will be considered invalid response. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Inquiries must be in writing and must reference Solicitation No. 0010049863. All questions should be directed to Trung Giang, Contract Specialist, trung.k.giang@us.army.mil. Response due date is 29 July 2011. If no affirmative responses are received by 4:00 pm on 29 July 2011, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a contract with ViaSat Corporation.
