Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This is a commercial item acquisition for the purchase of tank oxygen for the Department of Veterans Affairs - Boston Healthcare System. The contractor shall provide a committed source of supply of medical-grade tanks of oxygen for the facilities included in the solicitation. The Government facility does not own its own oxygen tanks. The contractor shall also provide contractor-owned tanks for the distribution and supply of medical grade tank oxygen to three (3) VA Medical Centers (Brockton, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury). The applicable NAICS code is 325120 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: technical, past performance and price. The solicitation package will be issued on or about August 10th, 2011. The date for receipt of quotes is scheduled for August 26th, 2011 at 12:00 pm. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. Any interested party may submit a quote which will be considered by this organization. Service Disabled Veterans and Veteran Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit offers.
