Description
RFI submissions due 09 August 2011. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code 6.3.2.0 is seeking information on commercially-available Applied Clinical Epidemiology (ACE) systems. Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) requires the capability to aggregate emerging clinical discoveries to improve the rate of adoption utilizing advanced Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT). Specific metrics and data assessments are necessary to identify relevant biomedical technologies amenable to IM/IT decision support tools at the Point of Care (POC). Clinical assessment and treatment options are increasingly tailored to previously unknown individual patient needs in a trend known as Precision Care (PC). ACE will create the processes for systematic clinical validation of the technologies as well as work with other Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) consultants to assure integration into clinical workflow processing that include the entire health care delivery team. Submittals The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems. This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer.
