- Enclosure drawing REQUEST FOR QUOTE SOLICITATION NUMBER FA3047-11-TC694 Quotes due by Tuesday, 26 July 2011, 1300 hours Central Standard Time (CST) The quote shall be valid through 30 September 2011 1. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110629. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332439 and the size standard is 500 employees. Solicitation number FA3047-11-TC694 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). 2. The Contract Line Items Number (CLIN) pricing structure in the Bid Schedule below is based on a Firm-Fixed Price. All overhead costs along with Other Direct Costs, must be included in the unit price. ITEM 001: Install 4'x4' Enclosures includes 8'X9' Chainlink Cage consisting of schedule 40 frame, 15 aluminum grill roll up doors with side bolt latch; top, bottom and middle rails, core drilled or flange posts. See attached drawing. QTY 15 EA. 3. Basis for Award: 802 CONS will issue a purchase order to the contractor who is determined to offer the Best Value to the Government for the purchase and installation of the items. 4. Best Value Determination. The lowest priced quote/response will be determined to represent the Best Value. Award will be made to the vendor whose quote is the lowest evaluated price among all acceptable quotes. 5. FOB: Destination to Panama City Beach, Florida 32407 6. The following clauses and provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. Addendum: The following paragraph is tailored as follows: Para (c), Period for Acceptance of Quotes. The vendor agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days for the date specified for receipt of quotes. Interested parties may submit a written offer in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Offers submitted orally will not be accepted. Your quote must include discount terms, delivery date, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS number. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, vendors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. To register, please apply via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Vendors must complete the Representations and Certifications in the ORCA database at http://www.bpn.gov/. The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a contract without discussions with vendors. Therefore, the vendor's initial quote should contain the vendor's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. All responses that meet the criteria contained within will be considered. Please be advised that the Government will treat proposals received after the deadline as late in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). 7. Late Quotes/Responses: Quote must be received by 26 July 2010, 1300 hours Central Standard Time (CST) in order to be considered timely. If the vendor is emailing his response directly in accordance with paragraph 6 above, then that email must be sent to sandra.hypolitebernard@us.af.mil by the due date specified. Any quote, modification, revision, or withdrawal of a quote received after the exact time specified for receipt of quotes is "late" and will not be considered unless it is the only quote received. 8.
