Description
ART course agenda Action Officer course agenda Short questionnaire for market research 1. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to assist Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia in determining the potential level of interest, adequacy of competition, and technical capabilities within industry, especially the small business community, to provide support to the Air Force Reserve Professional Development Center for the Air Reserve Technician and Action Officer courses. Specifically, the services required are as follows: Present and facilitate 3-4 week-long courses per month of 20-25 attendees each. Place of Performance: Conducted at the AFRC Professional Development Center, Robins AFB, GA Duties included: Plan agendas, coordinate organizational Subject Matter Experts (SME) and guest presenters for the courses, prepare student supporting materials, prepare the classroom, prepare courses announcements and notify attendees, present generic topics in the course when necessary, facilitate effective/efficient course flow based on agenda, address course related attendee needs and requirements, maintain reference and resources website, review and prepare after action course reports, review and incorporate critique feedback suggestions/recommendations as warranted, curriculum development and course marketing to potential audiences Instructor/Facilitator Specific Requirements: Air Reserve Technician (ART) Course: Prepare and present generic course topics related to the Air Reserve Technician (ART) 101 Course (5 days) as required (i.e. Introduction, AFRC and ART Program History, Basic ART Program Details, Civilian Benefits and Retirement, Military Benefits and Entitlements, References and Resources, Effective Writing Techniques, etc.) Facilitate guest speakers and SME presenters as required. Curriculum development as necessary (NOTE: An initial approved standard curriculum is developed for use). Reference attached course agenda. Action Officer Course: Prepare and present generic course topics related to the Action Officer (AO) Training (2 days in length) conducted quarterly or as required (i.e. Introduction, Action Officer Roles and Duties, AFRC Staffing Processes and Procedures, AO Tools and Techniques, Effective Writing Tips and Techniques, Preparing AFRC Briefings, Hands-on AO Skills Training, References and Resources, etc.) Facilitate guest speakers and SME presenters as required. Curriculum development as necessary (NOTE: An approved standard curriculum is developed for use). Reference attached course agenda. Special Qualifications Desired: Previous Reserve experience, knowledgeable of AFRC organization, history and mission, knowledgeable of the Air Reserve Technician (ART) Program, Knowledgeable of Action Officer Roles and Duties, Knowledgeable of Effective Writing Techniques and standard AF Staffing and Writing Principles, Able to convene and effectively facilitate diverse groups and course attendees. This SSS is solely intended to obtain Market Research information in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and its supplements to formulate an acquisition strategy for procurement of these critical services. The NAICS for this procurement is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. 2. Respondents are requested to provide their technical capabilities and potential level of interest in a narrative format. A brief survey is also attached to gather information from those firms with potential interested in this acquisition. 3. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This SSS does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), a commitment to issue an RFP in the future or award a contract for these services. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay or reimburse costs for any information provided in response to this SSS. 4. Responses to this SSS and survey are to be submitted by email only no later than Friday, 29 July 2011 to diane.sharpe@us.af.mil. All responses from prospective offerors should include the return email address, company name, CAGE code, DUNS number, mailing address, telephone number and point of contact within the body of the response.
