- Solicitation Number: Notice Type: AG-91u2-S-11-9001 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price offers are requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) solicitation number AG91U2S119001. This document incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25. The requirement is unrestricted and the NAICS code 423850 applies. The purpose of this Request for Quotations is to establish availability and to acquire Flares, Stubby's, Launchers for use by the South Zone Fire Cache in support of suppression of Wildland Fire activities. The USDA Forest Service (Logistic Support Center) has a requirement for: Item 1- 1200 boxes Inc., Hot Shot Flares, Mechanically Launched ¾ inch x 3.5 inch flares, 10 flares per box/40 boxes per case. Item 2- 120 boxes #6 Cartridges, 22 Caliber Power Device, 100 cartridges per box. Item 3- 120 boxes #7 Cartridges, 22 Caliber Power Device, 100 cartridges per box. Item 4-1000 boxes Flare Fire Dual Stubby II, 12 Stubby's per box 12,000 ea /40 CS. Item 5- 1000 ea Flare Hand Toss 2.5inch x 6. All items shall be delivered FOB Destination to the South Zone Fire Cache, USDA Forest, 1310 S Cucamonga Ave, Ontario, Ca 91761, within 10 days of award. Please provide alternate delivery schedule if unable to meet the requested delivery date. FOB Destination means that all costs for transportation or freight from the shipping point shall be paid by the Contractor and included in the unit price quoted for each item. Upon delivery, the items shall be visually inspected by the Government for compliance with the contract specifications. No item shall be accepted that do not comply with the specifications. Final acceptance shall be the responsibility of the Contracting Officer (CO). PAST PERFORMANCE: Offeror shall provide company/organization names, name of contact person and telephone number for three (3) contracts/orders performed within the last year of similar magnitude. Past performance can be based on the Contracting officer's knowledge, contractor provided references, and other reasonable sources. Offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representation and Certifications must be completed at http://orca.bpngov or a completed copy of the FAR 52.212-03 clause must be submitted with the quote. Quote shall be in writing on a SF 1149 or on company letterhead and must include the RFQ number, the company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, DUNS number, any prompt payment discount terms, and all information required under the evaluation criteria. Quotes must be received by July 29, 2011 12:00pm pacific at the USDA, Logistic Support Center, 1310 S Cucamonga Ave, Ontario, Ca 91761, by FAX at 909-930-3227. All responsible offerors may submit a quotation that, if timely received, shall be considered for award.
