Description: This is combined synopsis/solicitation VA-256-11-RQ-0652 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A quotation in response to this notice must be received not later than 2:00pm CDT, 02 August 2011. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52. This procurement is being set aside 100% for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423210 Office Furniture Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is 100 employees. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price order for delivery of the following: GENERAL. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials and supplies necessary to provide and install 20 workstations and 1 supervisor workstation as described herein. Supply and install 20 workstations as shown in the attached drawings. Supply and install 1 supervisor workstation in a private office as indicated on the attached drawings. All furniture shall contain a matching color scheme as specified below. The workstations shall be HAWORTH Premise. Each workstation shall be approximately 8ft X 7ft. Each Workstation shall have a minimum of one, 3-drawer, pedestal, one 2-drawer pedestal, 3 high X 36 inches wide bookcase, keyboard tray and 8ft of open shelving along the spine wall. A total of 4 matching divided power poles shall be provided. Space shall be available in each pole for voice, data, and electric to serve 8 workstations. Each station shall have 3 triplex receptacles. The panels shall be STRIAE fabric colored in Straws. The dividing panels shall be 48 inches tall capped with a 16 inch opaque glass header. The spine panel shall be 64 inch solid fabric. The desktop shall be a constructed of laminate material and colored with wood grain medium cherry. All metal finishes to include, pedestals, shelves, trim, and bookcases shall be Grey-tone in color. Each workstation shall be furnished with 1 Dauphin mesh back task chair in grade A fabric, adjustable arms, adjustable lumbar support, and tension control. Color in black. Product number VP9902. A Site Visit will be held on 26 July 2011, 2:00pm CDT.
