Q - Emergency Department Physician Services NAICS Code: 621111 Solicitation Number: VA-263-11-RP-0183 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for quotations or offers. The Fargo VA Health Care System of the Veterans Affairs Health Administration Agency is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a contract to provide Certified Emergency Department Physician Services and a 0.5 Full-Time Employee Equivalent (FTEE) at the Fargo VA Medical Center (Hospital) a Level III Trauma Center located at 2101 Elm Street, Fargo, ND 58102. To assist interested parties here is a brief/general description of the expected services to be provided, it is not all inclusive: "Emergency Department (ED) requires emergency medicine board certified or board eligible physician coverage twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week to provide comprehensive emergency care to eligible veterans in consultation with Fargo VA Medical Center medical and surgical specialties to treat acute illnesses or injuries. "Provide a part-time / 0.5 FTEE (20-hour per week or 1080-hours per year) Emergency Department Director for Services provided at the Fargo VA Medical Center (Hospital) "Interested parties will need to include a plan to ensure un-interrupted services throughout the contract period. "If a solicitation is issued/published detail description/specification will be published in the Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contract period will be for one (1) year from the date of contract award plus four (4) one-year options, to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621111 with a size standard of $10.0 million (USD). This procurement will be conducted in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 873 in conjunction with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. The government has determined that is in its best interest to award a single contract for these services to ensure continuity of care for eligible VA beneficiaries. This sources sought notice is to assist the Fargo VA Health Care System in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy only. Written communication received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award. Other website of interest for contractors is http://www.orca.bpn.gov To be considered for award, the successful offeror must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and provide the following information 1.A company profile, including name of business, DUNS number, and other pertinent information a.Describe the organizations business structure; b.Describe the management structure, please include a brief bio for key managers/leadership; and c.Explain how emergency physicians are incorporated into your organization. d.Provide a brief description of a contingency plan to ensure continuous coverage of the emergency department with board certified/board eligible emergency medicine physician. 2.A description of capabilities. 3.Past performance data for similar size facilities, multiple locations which demonstrate your capability to satisfactorily execute a contract to provide safe and timely laboratory courier services as described in this notice. Data shall include customer name, address, contract number, and point of contact information (name, phone number, and e-mail address.) 4.The business size and business socioeconomic category; such as Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Hub Zone Small Business, etc ¦ Please note, all SDVOSB's and VOSB's must be verified by the office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving any award. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service.
