- The Salt Lake Technical Center (SLTC) under the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is conducting market research to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses; small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses; service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and HUBZone small business that will provide the following supplies: 1. Oscilloscope, mixed signal, 4+16-channel, 200 MHz. 2. LAN and VGA module for 2000/3000-x series Oscilloscope. 3. Data import package - PC offline viewing and Perpetual Node Locked License. An oscilloscope is a type of electronic test instrument that allows observation of constantly varying signal voltages, usually as a two-dimensional graph. Although an oscilloscope display voltage on its vertical axis, any other quantity and can be converted to a voltage can be displayed as well. SLTC's current oscilloscope is 35 years old and broken beyond repair. The supplies above are the latest in technology, and is needed to test many other instruments at SLTC to make sure the voltage are accurate. Interested firms with the capability of providing the required supplies are requested to submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19 whether or not this procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 334515. When submitting your response, it is vital that you indicate the firms size and under which small business program you qualify. Interested firms responding to this market research must provide: 1. Capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Governments requirements for the above supplies. The capability statement shall be sufficient detail, but not to exceed five (5) pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the supplies. Interested parties must email the capability statement. 2. Include your company's information: name, address, point of contact, email address, telephone number, and DUNS number. Identify all socio-economic categories into which your company fits. 3. Describe your company's capability to deliver the supplies described above. All contractors responding to this announcement must demonstrate their ability to meet the requirements in the statement of work. Send a copy of the capability statement to Stacy Conaway, conaway.stacy@dol.gov, prior to 12noon eastern standard time on July 28, 2011.
