This notice is provided for informational purposes only. Please do not reply to this notice. This opportunity is available only to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Medicaid and CHIP Policy Implementation and Evaluation (MACPIE) IDIQ contract holders. This IDIQ was competitively awarded under the procedures of FAR 15. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), provides opportunities to improve the nation's health care through health information technology (HIT) by promoting the meaningful use of electronic health records (EHR) via incentives. The HIT provisions of the Recovery Act are found primarily in the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act or the HITECH Act. The purpose of the SOW is to describe the requirements to be performed in support of the CMCS HITECH team in its efforts to evaluate how States are implementing the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program in CY 2011.
