Description

The Connecticut Veterans Affairs Healthcare System located at 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT intends to release Solicitation VA-241-11-RQ-1024 for Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through accredited CPE hospitals and centers. CPE is defined as theological education of Veteran Affairs Chaplains that occurs in both classrooms and clinical settings. This will include two sessions: an extended unit session (26 weeks) and an intensive summer session (11 weeks) as outlined by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education and the upcoming solicitation. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or about July 25, 2011. Performance period is 365 calendar days after award, with no option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFP solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. The Contracting Officer will not be able to answer any questions to this notice until a solicitation is issued. All interested parties should register via FEDBIZOPPS interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FebBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prospective firms must be registered in CCR (www.ccr.gov) prior to award.
