Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE : The Request for Proposal (RFP) for this requirement will be issued under FAR 13.5. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded to the responsible suitable contractor who meets the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). This acquisition effort is for a base contract of one (1) year, with four (4) one (1) year options. This will be a commercial service, Firm Fixed Price, 100% Small Business Set-Aside contract. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this effort is 493190 described as warehousing and storage. Description of the Work : Worldwide Warehouse Redistribution Services (WWRS) program is a fee for service web based international redistribution program. The services requested are for an In-transit Inspection Point (IIP) designed to receive and transfer excess support equipment and spare parts from approved Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries and international organizations to fill FMS and United States government materiel requirements. The IIP takes ownership of incoming assets for the United States and insures correct items in proper condition are processed. The IIP shall document and safeguard assets during the inspection process. Disposal of material, storage at the IIP, and some travel may also be required. The Contractor shall also be required to provide daily administrative support for the Program Management Office (PMO). The approximate solicitation date will be 15 days after the pre-solicitation notice is posted on Federal Business Opportunities website. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Award will be made only to a responsible party, in accordance to FAR 9.103 and FAR 9.104.
