- Description
- Sole Source Intent Notification: Curricula Revision and Maintenance (R&M). NAWCTSD intends to negotiate sole source contract extensions for five Curricula Revision and Maintenance (R&M) efforts as follows: 1) Navy Helos R&M, contract # N61339-03-D-5017-0017; 2) MH-CH 53-D/E R&M, contract # N61339-03-D-5017-0018; 3) AV-8B R&M, contract # N61339-05-D-5017-0019; 4) F/A-18 R&M, contract # N61339-05-D-5017-0020 to the incumbent contractor L-3 Link/Don Patterson & Associates (DPA); and, 5) Aviation Electronic Warfare (Aviation EW) R&M, contract # N61339-03-D-5016-0007 to Delex Systems, Inc. Extension of these efforts will provide additional support for an 8-month (F/A-18 R&M) to 16-month (MH/CH-53 D/E R&M) period from 01 Sep 2012 to 31 Dec 2013. These are extensions to previous contracts. The Government initially competed these orders simultaneously as small business set-asides under the Training Systems Contract II, Lot II, the multiple award contract under which these efforts remain. This purpose of this action is to provide œbridge contracts to sustain R&M for the fleet until each program can be competed using separate schedules under the sustainment functional area of the Training Data Products Contract (TDPC) multiple award contract (MAC), which is due to be awarded 01 Mar 2012. Contract award for these five extensions is anticipated to be on or about 12 Jun 2012. No solicitation documents are available. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete these requirements is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received by 4 PM EST 27 July 2011 will be solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Matters pertaining to this notification may be directed to Paul R. Host at 407-380-4972 or via email at john.k.lina@navy.mil.
