- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. New manufacturing sources are being sought for the 8 NSNs listed below. General Electric Company, CAGE 99207, and Delavan, Inc., CAGE 71895, are currently the only approved manufacturers. All NSNs are non-commercial, military-unique spraybars used on the F-404 aircraft engine. Contractor Production Lot Testing is required for each NSN. A Source Approval Request (SAR) that includes a complete technical data package is required in order to evaluate potential new sources. Interested companies should submit a SAR for each NSN for which they are interested in qualifying as a source. The following website provides the mandatory requirements to submit for category I - III parts: http://www.aviation.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc Export Control certification is required for all NSNs. The following instructions apply to Export Control requirements: The drawing package required is subject to Export-Control regulations, and distribution is limited to those contractors qualified through JCP Certification. To apply for certification, complete DD Form 2345, "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement." Form is available at the World Wide Web address http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp or by writing to: United States/Canada Joint Certification Office Defense Logistics Information Service Federal Center 74 Washington Ave, North Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 Contracts will be awarded only to those contractors with JCP certification issued prior to an award. The Defense Logistics Agency, Aviation, intends to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods.
