- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - F1S0AF1138B001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20110629. NAICS is 333314 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the following products brand name or equal: 1.NOUN: Avatar Hi-G Lens, Avatar P/N S008949 Qty: 14 All Brand Name or Equal offers must meet the following minimum salient characteristics /specifications: •Camera lens, 10.5 mm, f/2.8: with focusing Mount. •Aperture: f/2.8 •Image Circle: 28 mm •Length: 3.60: or 92.0 mm (maximum) •Diameter: 2.65: or 67.00 mm (maximum) •Weight: 1.20 pounds or.55 kg (maximum) •Shock: Designed for 100 g's at 5 ms, all axes •The optical design must be of current technology for digital image sensor cameras in the visible spectrum •The lens axial resolution shall be 150 line-pairs-per millimeter or greater at f/4.0 and above •The lens length dimension shall not exceed 4.0 inches •The lens must be ruggedized and capable of Hi-g shock and vibration environments •The lens shall incorporate a Hi-g iris calibrated in full f/stops from : f/2.8 to f/22 •The lens shall incorporate both aperture and focus locks •The lens must include integral structural support without need of a separate cage •The lens-to-camera mechanical interface must be compatible with existing Air Force model Teletronics Technology Corporation (TTC) CMOS digital high-speed cameras •The lens back-focus dimension shall be 25.0 millimeter from its mounting flange to the camera's image plane located inside the CMOS image sensor when focused at infinity •C-mount and/or Nikon F-type and similar bayonet type lens mounts ARE NOT acceptable •Lens must be able to adapt to the TTC high-speed camera •Quantity - 14 each CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-7 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AND DFARS 252.204-7004, ALTERNATE A.
