Description
This opportunity is an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. The EUL is a real estate lease of approximately 45.3 acres on seven parcels. The initial lease term shall not exceed 50 years. However, the Navy may enter into a succeeding lease of the same or similar term conditioned upon the lessee s satisfactory performance under the initial lease and if determined by the Navy to be in the Government s best interest. Procurement Process: The Government intends to award the EUL using a two-phased, best value source selection process. Specific source selection procedures, submission requirements, evaluation criteria and the obligations and responsibilities of the successful offeror are identified in Final Request for Qualifications (RFQ) N40080-LO-10335 to be issued by the Navy on July 15, 2011. RFQ N40080-LO-10335: The Draft RFQ is available for review at https://portal.navfac.navy.mil/portal/page/portal/navfac/navfac_ww_pp/navfac_hq_pp/navfac_bdd_pp/navyeul. The website can also be accessed at www.navyeul.com, which will automatically redirect to the above listed website. To access NAS Patuxent River EUL project information on this website, select Project Status and NAS Patuxent River from the project list. The RFQ is located on the Documents webpage. While the Navy intends to enter into a Lease with an Offeror selected through the process set forth in the RFQ, the Navy is under no obligation to do so. The Navy reserves the right to cancel this RFQ at any time or to reject any and all submissions prepared in response to the RFQ. The RFQ does not commit the Government to contract for services, or to pay any costs incurred in preparation of any submission in response to the RFQ. Questions or comments on the RFQ should be directed to Ms. Deborah Moomey, Asset Management, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, 1314 Harwood Street, SE, Building 212, Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374-5018.
