Description

Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 East Stoner Ave. Shreveport LA requires the services of a Contractor to provide a lease for GI Endoscopic Systems. The Resulting contract will consist of a base period from August 2011 thru September 30, 2011 with three (3) one (1) year options pending availability of funds. OBVAMC currently owns standing equipment manufactured by Olympus. The equipment required for this lease must be manufactured by Olympus or its equal. All items must comply with FAR clause 52.211-6 & VAAR 852.211-73 BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (JAN 2008). The Contractor must demonstrate that all items are compatible with existing Olympus equipment before acceptability. The solicitation is to be issued as full and open competition under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 532490, size standard is $7 Mil. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Proposal (RFP). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by July 22, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. Local Time (CST). Responses must be in writing to the Contract Specialist. Anticipated issued date of solicitation is July 25, 2011. Anticipated date for receipt of offers is August 8, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. Local Time (CST). All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website frequently to obtain any amendment(s) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for an award. Contractors may access CCR at http://www.ccr.gov.
