- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division has a requirement for protective clothing in direct support of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Program. These items are on the Approved for Navy Use (ANU) list of the approved items for Navy use ashore. These items are being procured to insure the readiness of Navy Installations to respond to a CBRN incident. Only those articles that have been successfully tested are qualified. The objective of this process is to verify that the life support system provides acceptable levels of safety throughout the specified operating range. The intent of the process is to provide maximum reasonable assurance that an accident will not occur and establishes maximum reasonable assurance that the user may operate the equipment without injury or an accident. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. Delivery will be made to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 315299. FSC is 4220 and the size standard is 500 employees.
