- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency intends to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a 1-year base period and four 1-year option periods for the 5 NSNs listed below. All NSNs are used on the CH-53 D/E Helicopter. Surge requirements do not apply. The Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ) that applies to the base period and each option period and the required deliveries are as follows: NSN 2915-01-129-3687, Sikorsky P/N 65317-08063-102, Valve, Fuel System, EAQ: 66, Delivery: 192 days NSN 2915-01-129-3688, Sikorsky P/N 65317-08064-102, Valve, Fuel-Air Mix, EAQ: 24, Delivery: 153 days NSN 2915-01-129-3694, Sikorsky P/N 65317-08067-101, Valve, Fuel-Air Mix, EAQ: 16, Delivery: 204 days NSN 2915-01-129-3695, Sikorsky P/N 65317-08068-101, Valve, Fuel-Air Mix, EAQ: 10, Delivery: 148 days NSN 2915-01-135-1473, Sikorsky P/N 65317-08062-101, Body, Valve, EAQ: 110, Delivery: 224 days The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. A Sikorsky Aircraft (CAGE 78286) source-controlled drawing is required, and the only approved manufacturing source is Spectrum Associates, CAGE 55723. Interested contractors would need to seek source approval from the owner of the drawing, Sikorsky Aircraft. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. The following statement regarding Export Control applies to NSN 2915-01-129-3688: The drawing package required is subject to Export-Control regulations, and distribution is limited to those contractors qualified through JCP Certification. To apply for certification, complete DD Form 2345, "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement." Form is available at the World Wide Web address http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp or by writing to: United States/Canada Joint Certification Office Defense Logistics Information Service Federal Center 74 Washington Ave, North Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 Contracts will be awarded only to those contractors with JCP certification issued prior to an award. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, contractors must be registered in Central Contactor Registration (CCR). The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
