Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This does not constitute a solicitation. The information gathered from this request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only. The Government is not obligated, nor shall it pay for, any information received from potential sources as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this notice is to identify current SEWP Schedule Holders and small business entities capable of providing the following goods and services to the North Florida/South Georgia VA Health Care System: SCOPE TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Phone Install the 1200-pair phone trunk cable and the two fiber cables from new Bed Tower Main Distribution room, underground, through the existing 4" conduit to the main hospital, room A059A, behind Switchroom A027. Based on the Statement of Work, the distance is approximately 350 feet. Install the 1200-pair trunk cable from the building terminal boxes in room A059A to 100 punch blocks located in Switchroom A027. Install ground cable to accompany trunk cable and properly ground the cable in both locations. ITC will provide and install (1) TGB Grounding Bus Bar for all grounding termination. The TGB will be mounted on the telecom backboard indicated by prints provided. Fiber Install and terminate 96-strand multimode 50um fiber from the new bed tower Main Distribution room to the Switchroom (A027). Install LIU boxes to accommodate fiber. Install and terminate 12-strand single-mode fiber from new bed tower Main Distribution room to Switchroom (A027). Install LIU box to accommodate fiber. Backboard Provide and install a painted 3/4" backboard with fire retardant paint to be installed in area identified by OIT personnel. Administration Each 110 block will be labeled in the EIA/TIA 606 Labeling standard, easy to understand sequence for identification purposes. The labeling sequence will be based on the following criteria: floor, rack, panel, and port, or at your direction. All labels will be computer generated using the ITC computer generated labeling software system. Also label each rack with a designation using black on white labeling tape. The racks will be labeled at the top left of each. Rack sequence will be left to right. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) identifier for this service is 238210. Interested SEWP contract holders and small business entities may respond to this RFI by submitting a qualifications letter stating the following information: 1.Name 2.Capability Statement (include exact item stated in this notice) All SEWP contract holders shall submit their responses through the SEWP online website.
