- Information in this sources sought announcement is pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 market research. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information request. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualification of various Small Businesses to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Contract of the following requirement; The requirement Description; 1. Cubicle Expansion of one room (using Teknion parts) 2. Installation (disconnect and reconnect electitical wires Etc.) 3. Reconfiguration to disassemble 12 workstations and reassemble 8 workstations All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabiliites and knowledge to work on Teknion furniture. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Firms responding should indicate whether they are, or are not, a small business. The general definition of a small business is one that is independently owned and operated. Firms should also be aware and available if necessary,should a site survey be needed or required. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent acquisition. Respondents will not individually be notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses. The Government intends to consider all comments and the responsive capability statements when developing its final acquisition strategy and resulting RFQ(s). The synopsis, amendments and other information related to this sources sought as well as any subsequent procurement notifications will be posted on FedBizOpps.
