Description
The Federal Integrated Product Team (FIPT) is seeking information from industryon approaches, products and/or standard modular cellular voice and dataarchitecture and solutions in a mobile vehicle platform. This cellularInternet Protocol (IP) based architecture should be able to operate in manydifferent locations of the Continental United States (CONUS) and in locationsOutside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The objective of thisnetwork(s) is to operate on the move while providing services for a coveragebubble in support of other mobile platforms. The cellular network should alsohave the ability to provide non-secure/secure capabilities in support of voice,data, and video teleconferencing requirements. Integrated cellular hardwareand software designs should include open architecture Commercial-Off-The-Shelf(COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelf capabilities. The cellular communicationspackage should have the ability to rapidly integrate mature advanced technologyin focus areas identified in Section 2.0 and have the required accreditationsfrom the United States Government and the Department of Defense (DoD). Thecellular communications package should be ruggedized with minimal requirementsto support Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP). In addition, it should operate inaustere locations that can get as cold as -32 and +120 degree temperatures thatmust be protected but not limited to rain, dust, sand, and moisture. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a white paperidentifying their capabilities, to include past relevant experience and anyinformation the interested party deems appropriate to demonstrate theircapability and interest in the contents of this RFI - see attachment fordetails and instructions. Interested parties are welcome to address thecomplete RFI or a portion thereof.
