Description
The Federal Integrated Product Team (FIPT) is seeking information from industryon approaches, products and/or standard Networking solutions that enablemulti-level classification (Unclassified up to Top Secret) non-secure/securevoice, data processing, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) on onehardware/software platform. The hardware and software solution should supportInternet Protocol (IP) injections from a myriad of transport mechanisms. Thosetransport mechanisms include but are not limited to Satellite Communications,Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS), Measured Business (MB) lines, Wireless Datadevices, Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL), and Integrated Services DigitalNetwork lines. The network platforms must be able to support all Class (A, B,C, D, E) type networks, interoperable with High Assurance Internet ProtocolEncryptors (HAIPE) version 3 devices, scalable to meet network routing andswitching requirements, manageable through the utilization of Local AreaNetwork (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) software applications. The desiredplatform should allow for remote log in capabilities and remote destructioncapabilities of the Internetwork Operating System (IOS). Hardware and softwaredesigns should include open architecture Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) andGovernment-Off-The-Shelf capabilities. The integrated network package shouldbe able to accelerate all services while converging all IP injections into oneunique ubiquitous network. In addition, it should have the ability to rapidlyintegrate mature advanced technology in focus areas identified in Section 2.0and have the required accreditations from the United States Government and theDepartment of Defense (DoD). The data computing package should be ruggedizedwith minimal requirements to support Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP). Inaddition, it should operate in austere locations that can get as cold as -32and +120 degree temperatures that must be protected but not limited to rain, dust, sand, and moisture. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a white paperidentifying their capabilities, to include past relevant experience and anyinformation the interested party deems appropriate to demonstrate theircapability and interest in the contents of this RFI - see attachment fordetails and instructions. Interested parties are welcome to address thecomplete RFI or a portion thereof. Responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the SPAWAR ContractingOfficer Theodore Rivera at theodore.rivera@navy.mil.
