- The following changes are hereby made to the request for qualifications: Paragraph 2. Project Information, 1st paragraph is herby deleted in its entirety and replace with the following to ADD "interior design" in the last sentence: 2. PROJECT INFORMATION: Task Orders to be issued under this contract may range in scope from a small study to a new project design of limited scope. The services required will be primarily architectural renovation of a variety of small projects and may also include design of new projects with limited scope. Input may be required by architecture with a full complement of disciplines, including civil/structural and mechanical/electrical engineering. Individual task orders may include design of maintenance and repair type projects, and miscellaneous architectural and engineering services associates with military installations, such as barracks, warehouses, storage facilities, administrative facilities, training facilities, maintenance facilities, aircraft hangars, computer facilities, aircraft runways, taxiways, aprons, treatment plants, and the entire spectrum of infrastructure (road and utility) systems. Demolition of existing facilities may require provisions for abatement of asbestos and/or lead based paint removal to be included in the design documents which in turn would require A-E investigation to be done. Services may include constructability reviews, LEED certification, Building Information Management (BIM), force protection, and sustainable design. Input may be required by the full range of disciplines including but not limited to: civil, structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, fire protection engineering, architectural, interior design, landscape architects, hydrology, geology, seismology, surveying, mapping, construction, LEED AP and cost engineering. Paragraph 3. Evaluation Criteria, Subparagraph C Qualified Professional Personnel is herby deleted in its entirety and replace with the following to ADD "interior design" in the first sentence: C. Qualified professional personnel in the following key disciplines: Project Management, architectural, interior design, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, geotechnical, geology, seismology, fire protection, interior design, hydraulic, hydrology, landscape architecture, cost engineering, topographic surveys, bathymetric surveys, LEED Accredited Professionals, Geographic Information Specialist, CADD operator, environmental specialist, and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). The evaluation will consider education, training, registration, overall relevant experience to military construction and longevity with the firm. All other sections of the solicitation remain unchanged. The response date and time is unchanged and remains by close of business (4:00 pm local time) on August 04, 2011.
