Description
The Federal Integrated Product Team (FIPT) is seeking information from industryon approaches, products and/or standard modular solutions in a mobile vehicle platform for integrated hardware and software designs to include open architecture Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelf capabilities. The desired objective is to field a system that supports a wireless and wired Internet Protocol (IP) architecture that allows for the processing of; secure and non-secure data processing, secure and non-secure telephony processing, radio frequency support, and secure and non-secure Video Teleconferencing (VTC) on one ubiquitous backbone. The ubiquitous network backbone should be able to support multiple datapaths that provide seamless and transparent alternate routing when the Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency (PACE) network routes are unavailable. The integrated communications package should have the ability to rapidly integrate mature advanced technology in focus areas identified in Section 2.0 and have the required accreditations from the United States Government and the Department of Defense (DoD). The integrated communications package must be able to support the aforementioned requirements and operate while On The Move (OTM) and At The Halt (ATH). FIPT may use this information for future product investments and to support the Department of Navys investment policy. The integrated communications package should be ruggedized with minimal requirements to support Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP). The operating environments of this package include austere locations that can get as cold as -32 and +120 degree temperatures that must be protected but not limited to rain, dust, sand, and moisture. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a white paper identifying their capabilities, to include past relevant experience and any information the interested party deems appropriate to demonstrate their capability and interest in the contents of this RFI - see attachment for details and instructions. Interested parties are welcome to address the complete RFI or a portion thereof. Responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the SPAWAR Contracting Officer Theodore Rivera at theodore.rivera@navy.mil.
