Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work For AIR COMPRESSOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT 1: Project Data: Title:AIR COMPRESSOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT Work Order ID: Building/Facility:NASJRB - HANGER 1049 1049 BOYINGTON RD FT WORTH, TX 76127 Government Rep.: QAR:Robert King Grand Prairie Field Office Chief Robert.King1@usar.army.mil 972-343-4090 Office 210-724-6594 Cell QAE:Debbie Cooper, AFOS debra.cooper2@usar.army.mil 972-343-4251 Office 210-723-6539 Cell 2. Description Project is the Maintenance and Repair (M & R) at existing Hanger. Work consists of replacement and repair to existing compressed air unit. Removing the existing non functional air compressor and replace with a 20-30 HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor Unit. 3: General: a)The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the Scope of Work as specified below in the detailed requirements. Detailed requirements are as specified below. All construction debris shall be removed from the work site daily. Upon completion of the project, all unused materials shall be removed from the site and shall be left in a clean condition... b)Access will be from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding legal public holidays as set forth in Title 5 United States Code (USC) 6103 (a) or as otherwise specified. The possibility the National Threat Level could move to Level "D" during the construction phase, causing work delays. A delay of more than a week, the Contractor will request a time extension. The Government's Construction Representative shall coordinate access to the installation until such time the National Threat Level moves to a lower category c)The Contractor shall provide signs, barriers, and barricades to provide a safe working area. Requirements of occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), latest edition and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers "Safety and Health Requirements Manual", latest edition, shall be strictly enforced and adhered to at all times at the job site. d)Materials specified shall meet the Scope of Work requirements and as specified e)No work shall be preformed unless a government representative is present or arrangements have been made prior to commencement of work f) The contractor, prior to final payment shall correct all deficiencies. 4: Detailed Requirements; a)Remove existing non functioning air compressor. b)Install new 30 hp rotary screw air compressor unit ambient air cooled, air/oil after cooler, 105 cfm-30hp capacity, direct drive design, 120 gallon tank, 230/460V 3 phase/ 60 Hz (4 wire) electrical requirement. Install 3 phase fusible disconnect switch. c)Service existing dryer and replace filter elements. Install inlet air modulation control and all plumbing including new particulate filter & coalescing filter, 1" npt (f) discharge air and 1" x 18" flex air line. d)Test new air compressor for operation 5. General Products requirements: a)The unit shall be environmentally friendly, easy maintenance - modular design, passive system, Noise level of 88db (a) @5 feet and a 5 year warranty..
