Description
MODIFICATION TO PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - Renovate Building 2 for Transitional Residency Program, Minor Project, at the VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI. This notification is to inform all interested parties that the anticipated date for issuing the solicitation is now on or about July 18, 2011 with the bid opening on or about August 31, 2011. Additionally, the following change is made to the presolicitation notice: "In accordance with the class deviation to 804.1102 Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database effective October 1, 2010, all SDVOSB and VOSB firms must be verified by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving an award under the program. If the successful bidder is not listed as verified in the VIP, the CO must contact the bidder and advise the bidder that it has 5 days to submit the verification documentation to CVE. CVE will process the documents and make a verification determination within 21 days of receipt of the documentation. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration, SDVOSB or VOSB firms also must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible to receive an award. Firms may obtain CCR information at http://www.ccr.gov." is revised to: "In accordance with the class deviation to 804.1102 Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database effective October 1, 2010 and with the subsequently passed Public Law 111-275, all SDVOSB and VOSB firms must be verified by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving an award under the program. If the successful bidder is listed in the VIP database but is not verified, the CO must contact the bidder and advise the bidder that it has 5 days to request that its verification be expedited. CVE will then make a verification determination within 21 days. A firm MUST be currently listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) to receive this expedited verification."
