- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 722320 and the size standard is less than $7.0 million. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26, effective 1 June 2008 & Class Deviation 2005-00001. Offers shall propose a firm fixed price for approximately 1552 breakfast meals, 222 lunch meals and 1684 dinner meals, served at Fort Harrison MT, in the vicinity of Helena, MT. Vendor shall propose a firm fixed price PER MEAL. SYNOPSIS 1. The quality and serving portions of the meals must be equivalent to commercially available prepared meals and will comply with the attached statement of work. 2. The vendor is responsible for serving and portion control. Ala carte ordering is prohibited. 3. Meal pricing must include all overhead, delivery, and clean-up costs. Gratuity is prohibited. 4. Vendor will invoice meals by date and type. 5. Unit Point of Contact (POC) will provide vendor with head count personnel and sign-in sheets for meals. Participants will sign a different sign-in sheet for each meal. POC will coordinate with vendor to adjust number of meals as necessary. 6. The anticipated award will consist of two contracts, each separately billable, representing the two units eating during this time period. 7. Fort Harrison DOES NOT have facilities to prepare catered meals on site. Mobile field kitchen with food preparation capability is preferred. No government furnished equipment will be provided to the contractor. Unit is responsible for obtaining dining facility for its Soldiers. STATEMENT OF WORK 24 July 2011 - 7 August 2011 Breakfast meals will begin serving at 0600 and dinner will begin at 1700, each meal can be served up to 90 minutes. All meals should include 1 meat, 1 starch, vegetable, salad, fresh fruit, desert, coffee, milk and a fruit drink and/or ice tea. Sport beverage may be provided in lieu of fruit drink. All condiments should be included with each meal for example; ketchup, Tabasco, salt, pepper, margarine, jams, jelly, maple syrup, creamer, sugar, parmesan cheese, crackers, assorted salad dressings. Sample menu is provided below. Contractor is not required to conform exactly to this menu, but menu selections shall conform to this sample menu in terms of quantity and meal variety. MREs are provided and distributed to the Soldiers by the government. 24 July 2011 DINNER will begin NLT 1700-1830. Meals should include: 2 Baked Chicken pieces, c. potatoes, c. whole kernel corn, 1 c. Beef Barley soup, 1 c. tossed vegetable salad, assorted salad dressing, c. chocolate pudding, low fat milk, coffee, cold sweet drink. 25 July 2011 BREAKFAST will begin NLT 0600-0730. Meals should include: 2 pieces of sliced bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, c. hash browns potatoes,2 pancakes c. Hot or cold cereal, toast, margarine, jam and jelly, syrup, fresh fruit, coffee, low fat milk, orange juice. DINNER will begin NLT 1700-1830. Meals should include: 9.5 oz lasagna, 34c. seasoned peas, 1 c. minestrone soup 2 slices garlic bread, 1 piece while cake w/strawberry glaze topping, 1 c lettuce, cucumber tomato salad, assorted salad dressing, low fat milk, coffee, cold drink sweet, low fat milk. 26 July 2011 BREAKFAST will begin NLT 0600-0730. Meals should include: breakfast2 pieces baked sausage link or patty, c. hashed browns potatoes, 2 slices French toast, c. Assorted dry cereal, fresh fruits, syrup, orange juice, low fat milk, coffee. DINNER will begin NLT 1700-1830. Meals should include: 5 oz chicken scampi, c. steamed rice, c. green beans w/mushrooms, 1 c. vegetable soup, 1/2c. Country style tomato salad, 2 slices toasted garlic bread, 1 piece spice cake w/cream cheese frosting, 27 July 2011 BREAKFAST will begin NLT 0600-0730. Meals should include: 5 oz. creamed ground beef, 2 scrambled eggs, c. Hash brown potatoes, toast, margarine, jam and jelly, fresh fruits, assorted dry cereal, low fat milk, coffee, grapefruit or orange juice. DINNER will begin NLT 1700-1830. Meals should include:1 c. sweet and sour pork, c. pork fried rice,3/4 c. seasoned peas, 2 ea hot dinner rolls, assorted vegetable tray, 1 piece blueberry crunch, low fat milk, coffee cold sweetened drinks. 28 July 2011 BREAKFAST will begin NLT 0600-0730. Meals should include: 2 slices bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, c hash browned potatoes;2 slices French toast, margarine, jam and jelly assorted, syrup, low fat milk, orange juice, coffee.
