Description
Questions and Answers Received to Assist in Preparations of Quote: 1. On fedbizopps, the response date lists is 7 July 2011 at 5pm EST, however, the SF 1449 indicates that the offer due date is 6 July 2011 at 4pm EST. Which date and time is the correct deadline? Answer - 7 July 2011 2. Is the customer only accepting hard copy proposals or may we submit our proposal electronically? Answer: Electronically is fine, submission must be made to BohacMJ@state.gov and SanchezVJ@state.gov 3. Will the participants be the same for both courses? That is, will the students who take the Intro course also take the Advanced course, or will the Advanced students be a separate group of students who have not taken the Intro course? Answer: No. At times, the attendees from the Intro course may then take the Advanced course. However, there are individuals who have taken previous introductory courses that will be permitted to take the advanced course without attendance in this particular intro course. 4. In Section 4. Delivery Schedule, the RFP indicates a minimum requirement for the Intro course. Is their a minimum requirement for the Advanced course? Answer: Yes, some sort of foundational basis and attendance in an Introductory analytic course. 5. Section 2.A. Instructor Requirements specifies that there should be two instructors for the course. Is this per course or total? For example, could two instructors teach the Intro Course and a different two instructors teach the Advanced course? Could it be one instructor per course? Or is the expectation that two instructors will teach both courses together? Lastly, does this include guest speakers? Answer: The requirement is for two instructors per course. The preference would be for the same instructors to facilitate both the Intro and Advanced courses. The proposal had included guest speaker. **END OF Q&A** No Further Questions and Answers have been offered, please consider the above before responding to ensure your firm understands the requirements as stated.
