Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Alexandria VA Medical Center, 2495 Shreveport Highway 71N, Pineville, LA 71360, is seeking a Small Business contractor to clean exhaust hoods and filters in the kitchens and canteen services within the Medical Center. Services needed are outlined in the solicitation for this project. Any qualified Small Businesses interested in bidding on this project, are requested to download the solicitation documents on or after the anticipated solicitation posted date below. Proposals will be considered only from offerors who are regularly established in the business called for and who in the judgment of the Contracting Officer are financially responsible and can successfully fulfill the service(s) needed. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 561790. The size standard is $7M. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses only, who are so classified in the CCR. Period of performance will be from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011 with four possible option years for extension. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download by July 1, 2011. Close date will be July 15, 2011 at 4:30 PM Central Time.
