Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1540 Spring Valley Dr., Huntington, WV has a requirement for Construction Project #581-10-107 Replace Lighting in Parking Garage and Building 4 at the VAMC, Huntington, WV. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and necessary supervision to complete the project. Work shall include, but not limited to, replacement of light fixtures, lights, existing transformer with new transformer in accordance with specifications and drawings included in the solicitation. The construction cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with your bid if it exceeds $100,000. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) CONTRACTORS. NOTE: At least 25 percent of the total labor costs for this contract must be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. The number of employees must be reflected correctly in Contractor Central Registration (CCR) and Dun and Bradstreet reports. SDVOSB contractors must be verified in VETBIZ (www.vip.vettbiz.gov) prior to award of any contract. Contractors must register at www.ccr.gov; https://orca.bpn.gov; and https://vets100.vets.dol.gov to be eligible for award. ORCA must reflect a small business size certification for the NAICS code noted herein. All registrations must be up-to-date and correct. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 238210 with the small business size standard of $14.0 million. Solicitation is to be posted to FEDBIZOPPS website (www.fedbizopps.gov) o/a July 15, 2011 with bids due o/a August 15, 2011. Paper solicitation will not be issued. Contractors must obtain solicitation, drawings and amendments (if issued) from this website. Bidders are reminded they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to the solicitation prior to time for bid opening or with their sealed bid.
