Description

This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. NSWC Crane is issuing a Commercial Area Announcement (CAA) for informational purposes only as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support procurement of 1 ruggedized workstation to support fleet and maintainability for the AN/SPS-73 (V) Radar System. The respondent to this market survey must have the available skills and facilities that are required to provide a ruggedized workstation that can meet the following desired specifications: Power: 115 VAC Hard Disk: 8GB Solid State CPU-Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn 2.53 GHZ, 2 GB Ram Input/output: Dual GB Ethernet Operating System: MS Windows. Grade A Shock: MIL-STD-901D- Pass Heavyweight Contrast Ratio in the dark: 700:1 Resolution: 1600X1200 (UXGA) Environmental Specifications: Mounting Frame Screen dimensions: 21.1 diagonal Night Bridge option: Backlight dimming ratio: 400:1 Vibration: SHIPS MIL-STD-167-1 Type 1 EMI/EMC: MIL-STD - 461 E Color Temperature: 6500K in center of the screen and perpendicular to the screen. Pixel Defects according to ISO 13406-2 Class II: Clusters of 2 or more are not allowed. The government ™s market research is based on NMCARS Subpart 5212.90 and the result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. THIS CAA IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this CAA. Interested parties shall understand that responses in any form are not quotes or offers. Further, issuance of the CAA does not impose any obligation on the Department of Navy or signify a firm commitment to issue a solicitation or a contract. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. There are no funds available to pay for the costs of preparing responses. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide 1 ruggedized workstation to the specifications stated above, please submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement (no more than 3 pages excluding the cover sheet) demonstrating ability to provide the requested items and quantities. This document shall address, as a minimum the following; 1. Provide the name and address of your company, primary point of contact, email address, web site address, telephone number, DUNS and CAGE code number. 2.Provide size category (large/small business, etc.) and type of ownership for the organization, GSA, SEWP, and or CHESS Contract # Provide the information as it pertains the specifications for ruggedized workstation; Manufacture Model Lead-time Place of manufacture General specifications and characteristics Cost Warranty This information may be provided by email to charles.noblitt@navy.mil no later than 10:00 am EST, 07 July 2011.
