Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking small business sources for a requirement entitled: "District Headquarters Building Emergency Operations Center Conference Room Upgrades". This is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified 8(a) small businesses, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) small businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 517911. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,500 employees. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought notice. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement may depend on the responses received in response to this notice. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE- (1) The name of your firm with address, phone, email and point of contact. (2) A statement of your firm's intent to submit a proposal/quote for this project when it is formally advertised. (3) CAGE Code, DUNS number or a copy of your Central Contractor Registration (CCR) information. (4) The category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZONE, or SDVOSB. (5) A Statement of Capability (SOC) providing the your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. This should include documentation of past specialized experience and technical competence in performing similar work--up to three (3) past projects for which your firm was the prime contractor. Firms responding to this sources sought notice who do not provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be used to assist the Government in the acquisition decision, which is the intent of this notice. NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SUBMIT A QUOTE/PROPOSAL FOR THIS PROJECT WHEN IT IS FORMALLY ADVERTISED, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. If inadequate responses are received, this project may be issued for full and open competition. SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK Upgrade the Emergency Operations Center Conference Room at the Walla Walla District Headquarters Building, Walla Walla, Washington. Strip one wall of 2 existing mounted flat screen televisions and brackets, cork board and snap-on wall fabric system. Provide new wall fabric with mounting hardware compatible with the rest of the conference room fabric wall system. Provide three new 120V duplex receptacles to accommodate three flat screen televisions. Mount three Government furnished flat screen televisions-two 55" and one 65". Provide low voltage cabling in ceiling and in wall from the TVs to the equipment closet. Cabling includes, but is not limited to, USB, video and 120V backup power. Modify existing closet-install a thermostat controlled fan, insert louvers onto the door, add light fixture and switch. Supply and assemble a new data port enabled conference table and 14 chairs. Install and wire data ports in table. Provide a performance test to demonstrate the function of each system installed.
