Description

STLI-155066, 155567, 160644 COMPLETE IMPLEMENTATION OF LIFE AND SAFETY UPGRADES STATUE OF LIBERTY NATIONAL MONUMENTMove Museum Collections on exhibit in Statue of Liberty Project Location: New York City, NY PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The work of this task order shall be provided fromOctober 15, 2011 through October 15, 2012. During life and safety renovations in the Statue of Liberty National Monument (STLI), museum collection objects on exhibit in the Statue of Liberty National Monument exhibit display shall be packed, and moved to Museum Storage on Ellis Island. Once the renovations are completed, the museum objects will be returned to the exhibit in the Statue of Liberty National Monument. Contract fine arts movers are needed in order to pack and move the museum collections, which comprise approximately 61 items. The museum objects to pack, move, and unpack include all objects listed in Appendices A and B. NPS staff will pack and move objects listed in Appendix C. The move should be carried out with special attention to safety and careful handling.
