- Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Aircraft Paint Request for Information 22 June 2011 1. Company Information: Name: POC: Telephone #: POC E-mail: CAGE code: 2. Is your company an authorized dealer of the following manufacturers: Deft, Hentzen, Caap Co., PPG, Pantheon, and others ? 3. What is your relationship with these suppliers? 4. Are you registered with the NAICS code 561990- All Other Support Services? 5. What NAICS code do you suggest for this acquisition? 6. Is your company a small business for this NAICS Code? If your company is small business, is it also a women owned business, small disadvantaged business, 8a business, HUB Zone business, service disabled veteran owned business, etc. 7. If a small business, would your company provide products of its own manufacture or would it provide products manufactured by another small business? Same questions for subcategories of small business, e.g. 8a. 8. Do you currently have or could you have a presence near Hill Air Force Base to store and monitor the inventory? 9. Can you provide service to maintain freshness and rotate stock upon delivery of new product at various shop locations on Hill Air Force Base? 10. Describe your provision of same or similar requirements. Include quantities, customer, contract value, and date of delivery and period of performance. 11. What is your company's experience with EPA and OSHA requirements? 12. Please provide answers as soon as possible but no later than close of business 20 July 2011. Use of this Request for Information is authorized by FAR15.201 (e), which states, "RFIs may be used when the Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract." Accordingly, applicable to this RFI are the requirements of FAR 52.215-3 -- Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (OCT 1997), which state that (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and (b) Although "proposal" and "offer" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. Per subparagraph (c), this solicitation is issued as a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes only.
