- DESCRIPTION: Contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and materials necessary to demolish and remove toilet buildings and perform site work at Horseshoe Recreation Area Campground. Work will include demolition and removal of existing flush toilet building, place gravel building pad, stubbing up utility lines and make utility connections for a new toilet building. Demolition and removal of two single unit vault toilet buildings, including backfill, grading and seeding. Install one septic tank effluent filter and one knife valve in a gravity sewer line. This project is located on the Cheat-Potomac Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest, Tucker County, West Virginia. GOVERNMENT PRICE ESTIMATE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Beginning at Parsons, WV, go north on State Route 72 approximately 5 miles to the intersection with CR 5. Travel 0.25 miles to St. George and take CR 1 east 3 miles to the intersection of CR 7. Take CR 7 east 2.5 miles to Horseshoe Recreation Area. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND SITE VISIT INFORMATION: The period of performance is 90 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. A site showing will take place July 27, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the Horseshoe Recreation Area Campground, directions shown above. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Successful offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Registration in CCR may be completed on the internet at www.ccr.gov. SET-ASIDE: This project is set aside for small business. BONDING INFORMATION: Contractor will be required to furnish 100% Payment Protection in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit to the USDA, Forest Service within 10 calendar days of the date it receives notice of award in the event that the award is greater than $30,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation AG-3434-S-11-0020 and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotations and will be available for downloading on or around July 13, 2011. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if received timely, shall be considered by the agency.
