Description
The WPAFB Hospital will be renovated by separate contract and this contract will provide space to move various hospital functions during construction activities. The space will be primarily for administrative functions including the hospital command staff and mental health consult spaces. The scope of the project is to provide modular space for the temporary operations of the hospital as necessary to accommodate the renovation, in addition also to provide field office space for the Corps of Engineers construction management team. The use of these spaces will be leases for a period of time and the contract will require removal at the end of the contract Hospital Swing Space - The modular units are a system of ganged units connected together and situated on raised piers. The concept layout includes 4 groupings of 9 ganged 12' x 60' units, with the 4 groups connected by elevated walkways. Total area is estimated at approximately 26,000 GSF. Supporting facilities include site preparation, grading and tree stump removal, utility installation, concrete pad for modular structures and access around the complex, and asphalt pavement renovations and construction to existing parking area. Space shall be complete and ready to occupy, including all utility hook-ups, rest room facilities, and furniture. Corps of Engineers Field Office - The modular units are a system of ganged units connected together, separated from the Swing Space units, but located adjacently. The concept layout includes 1 grouping of 6 ganged 12' x 60' units. Total area is approximately 4300 GSF. Supporting facilities required for this area are the same as above, except the furniture is existing and will be moved by the Government outside this contract. The design, completed under this contract, shall be developed using this furniture, inventory and plan will be furnished to awarded contractor. The base contract will include all site improvements and include a base lease cost. The contract will include options for leasing for additional time periods. NAICS is 236220.
