- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing three Permaswage kits, including pumps and tooling. The contract resulting from this requirement will be for 3 Permaswage kits to be delivered to the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast located at NAS Jacksonville. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. This Sources Sought Notice is seeking to identify additional suppliers for: Noun: KIT, PERMASWAGE TOOL NSN: 4920-01-514-8009 MP/N: DLTFRPSKT3014 Vehicle Application: Rear F/18 wing repairs currently being procured noncompetitively. Interested firms are required to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 12:00pm (Eastern Standard Time), 07 July 2011, stating their business size as well as a point of contact. The Government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, sole source requirement, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
