Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Replace Chillers for EPVAHCS El Paso, TX Project Number 756-11-501 The El Paso VA Health Care System, 5001 North Piedras, El Paso, Texas 79930, anticipates soliciting proposals and consequently awarding a Design-Build contract for the replacement of two (2) 350-ton chillers, condensers, compressors, evaporators, motors, controls, pumps, and all other work called for in the solicitation “ Project number, 756-11-501. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation) and part 36 (Construction) and will be evaluated with procedures therein. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, and pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8127(d), the solicitation will be advertised as a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. The Offeror shall provide all design-build, labor, personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, supervision, administration, and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish the work. The NAICS Code is: 238220 The Standard size is: $14 million The Project Magnitude is: $500,000 - $1,000,000 The complete solicitation package (including specifications and drawings) will be issued on or about Wednesday, July 11, 2011 via FEDBIZOPPS and proposals will be due on or about August 11, 2011. Please note that the response date on the solicitation shall control when proposals are due.
