DESCRIPTION: LI 0001 The convergent segment liner is manufactured from high temperature material to meet. specific dimensions. LI 0002 Length (IN):15.0" Width (IN): 4.5" Height (IN): 0.5" Item Material: Columbium Alloy ITEM FUNCTION: LI 0001 Protects the convergent segment from high temperature exhaust gases. LI 0002 Protects the convergent seal from high temperature exhaust gases. 9. QUANTITY/DELIVERY: LI 0001 QTY 573 ea/78 per month; LI 0002 QTY 1300 ea/302 per month. 10. APPLICATION: F100-PW-229 Engine 11. DESTINATION: SW3211, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-9013. Mark For: Acct 09 12. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 13. EXPORT CONTROL: Data is export controlled. The solicitation/procurement data list is approved for release only to U.S. DoD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). Submission of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), 22 CFR Sections 121 through 128. Foreign contractors cannot participate as prime contractors. The technical data will not be available until the solicitation is posted. 14. UID: If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements will apply. 15. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Electronic procedures and Request for Written Proposal will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at https://www.fbo.gov/index. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or service) required are available from one or only a limited number of source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources solicited may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Intended source is Unison Engine Components-Manchester. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. OMBUDSMAN NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
