- The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) is soliciting comments and suggestions from industry on Army Direct Care Medical Services (ADCMS), Physician Services, Southern Regional Medical Command Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The purpose of this notice is to gather comments and suggestions from industry, prior to release of the formal solicitation, to improve the content, clarity, correctness, and completeness of the draft RFP. It is designed to reduce proposal preparation and evaluation time and promote a clearer understanding to industry of the requirements with a goal of a more effective and less costly contract. The Government will consider/evaluate all questions and comments received from potential offerors in the preparation of the Final RFP. This is a special notice only. This is not a solicitation announcement. This draft RFP neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict CHCC to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and any requests for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government does not intent to respond to the questions and comments, only consider/evaluate and incorporate into the solicitation if deemed appropriate and in its best interest. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and draft solicitation. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice/draft solicitation is strictly voluntary. Responses to this special notice and accompanying draft solicitation shall be limited to three (3) pages or less, font 12; Times New Roman. Responses may be submitted either in hard-copy format in document/folder form or in the form of CD or DVD. Smith/Johnie Johnson 2199 Storage Street, Suite 68 Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5074 All responses to this notice and accompanying draft solicitation must be received in writing no later than 8 July 2011, 2:00PM Central Time at the address above to be considered/evaluated for possible incorporation into the final RFP. NOTE: The pricing matrix for the draft solicitation currently shows 1920 hours for each craft listed. The final RFP will contain actual estimated hours per craft.
