Description
The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging and meeting room space in Louisville, KY. The U.S. Census Bureau is sponsoring the Census 2010 Lessons Learned Conference on November 1- 2, 2011. Lodging Requirements October 31, 2011 - 100 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order November 1, 2011 - 100 sleeping rooms on Government Purchase Order Meeting Room Requirements November 1, 2011 • General Session Room: 120 people classroom style, head table and podium on a riser. Ice water and glasses shall be provided on each table with writing pads and pens. General session room must be without pillars/posts to obstruct view; refreshments are required as follows: AM Beverage Break, Mid-morning Beverage Refresh, PM Beverage/Snack Break. • Registration area: Preference for the registration area is in close proximity to the general session room (ideally directly outside the conference room). There should be two six foot tables with skirting, four chairs, and a large waste basket. • Luncheon Room: Lunch for 120 people seated banquet style • Dinner Room: Dinner for 120 people, seated banquet style, podium on riser, piano • Audiovisual will be determined at a later date November 2, 2011 • General Session Room: 120 people classroom style, head table and podium on a riser. There should be two six foot tables with skirting, four chairs, and a large waste basket. • Audiovisual will be determined at a later date The accommodations must have the following: • Full Service Restaurant The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or fax to 301-763-4624. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 3pm eastern time.
