Description
NSN:4730-00-839-6336 LOCKNUT, TUBE FITTING   The DLA- Land and Maritime Supply Chain (DSCC) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation supplemented with additional information included in this notice toward the solicitation and subsequent Award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC)*This type of contracts is intended for use with items for which recurring demands are anticipated, and as a means of reducing the time and expense required to solicit and make repetitive individual awards. The goal is the Establishment of an Indefinite Type Purchase Order IDPO that will use a Basic order (called a "Basic Contract") that will permit future Purchase Requests to be awarded by issuing delivery orders against the basic document.. The AMC/AMCS:1/G imply that the item is I/A/W Government issued drawings. The solicitation is 100% set a- side for small business concerns. Full and open competition applies. All responsible sources that meet the basic requirements may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of one (1) NSN: 4730-00-893-6336. LOCKNUT, TUBE FITTING, ALUMINUM MATERIAL, 0.250 INCH NOMINAL TUBE OD I/A/W : NAS1410 AMEND NR 4 TYPE NUMBER: NAS1410DD4 I/A/W SAE AS4875. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DODSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-6396/6257 (DSN: 442-6396/6257). Patterns, Drawings, Deviations Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Various Increments Solicited. The following Numbered Notes apply: Note 12 - One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Note 26 - Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The estimated yearly quantity is 47. The unit of issue is "EA". The delivery for this acquisition will be on an "FOB "Destination bases. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period 2(two) times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer quote. The requested delivery is 50 days. The solicitation is based on a 100% small business set-aside with full an open competition based on product being supplied by one of the sources listed in this notice. The solicitation will be available in https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on its proposed issue date 06/21/2011. This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The small business standard size is 500 employees for NAICS code: 332996. **DLA INTERNET BID BOARD SYSTEM (DIBBS) QUOTATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION**.
