Description
This is a notification of the Government's intent to negotiate a sole source award with Sigma Assessment Systems, Inc. located at 511 Fort ST, Port Huron, MI 48060, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for psychological assessment and selection of Soldiers. The contractor identified is the only known source and authorized provider of the Multidimensional Aptitude Battery-II (MAB-II). The product assesses aptitudes and intelligence. It will also be used for research into intellectual processes and their relation to other psychological constructs. It can further assess job performance, learning and also be used for neuropsychological assessment and research. MAB-II materials are currently being used and this requirement will update current data for various ongoing programs. The resultant award will include testing booklets, response sheets and MAB Windows Tokens that allow the computers to scan, score and print the MAB-II reports. This is not a competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested. Any other responsible source capable of meeting the requirement may submit technical, delivery, pricing, and past performance data sufficient to determine capability. However, the determination to compete or to not compete this requirement rests solely with the Government. To be considered, any such documentation must be received NLT 28 June, 2011, 2:00PM EST. The anticipated date of award is 30 June, 2011. Only electronic submissions will be accepted and no extensions will be granted. The Government will not pay for any information submitted. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to SFC Lesly Ferdinand at lesly.ferdinand@soc.mil.
