Description
The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure, on a sole source basis, to Systel, Inc., a quantity of seventeen(17) Ruggedized 1U Rackmount 19" LCD Flat Panel Display (P/N 7192FPD-02), a quantity of ten (10) Ruggedized 2U Rackmount 3 Slot Industrial Computer w/Single Removable SATA HD, Single Dual Core Xeon (P/N 4238GDI-05), a quantity of three (3) Ruggedized 2U Rackmount 3 Slot Industrial Computer w/Quad Core Xeon (P/N 4238GDI-06), and a quantity of six (6) Ruggedized 2U Rackmount 3 Slot Industrial Computer w/Single Removable SATA HD (P/N 4233GDI-01). Systel, Inc. is located at 1655 Industrial Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77478-2579. These workstations are part of an existing accredited system. Deviation from the existing system suite would result in a huge cost and schedule impact to the government. New mounting hardware would have to be designed and built; a new IA package would have to be developed; system integration would need to be tested and certified; mission deployment would be at risk; additional configuration management logistic support (different hardware out in the fleet). The item quoted must be the exact item specified above; substitutes are not acceptable. Questions may be submitted to matthew.w.patrick@navy.mil and linda.wilkes@navy.mil or faxed to (540) 653-7088; Telephone#: (540) 653-6808. Please reference RFP N00178-11-Q-1026 on any correspondence. NSWCDD Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at: http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. Hard copies WILL NOT be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
