Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, proposes to modify contract N00019-11-R-0028 with Kairos Autonomi, Inc, Sandy, UT. The proposed modification will add a Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for initial spare parts. The proposed CLIN will provide spares for the Pronto 4 command and control systems, as well as initial spares necessary to support production and sustainment in Fleet operational environments. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
